Terms

Last updated 12 October 2026

KEYHOLE turns a Solana address into a direction on the sky and shows real survey images and catalogue data for that patch. These terms are short on purpose.

What you get

A plate is a picture of a patch of sky and the record of when you looked. You don't own, name or register any part of the sky, any star or any galaxy. Nobody can sell that, and we don't.

Not a game of chance, not financial advice

KEYHOLE is not gambling. Nothing on this site is financial advice or an offer of an investment. $KEYHOLE is a memecoin with a viewing utility; its price can go to zero. Don't buy what you can't afford to lose.

Telescope time

After launch, creator fees are meant to pay for exposures on commercial robotic telescopes. Weather, the season, the Moon and the telescopes' availability decide what can be observed. No exposure, discovery or schedule is guaranteed.

No affiliation

We name public instruments, surveys and services (Gaia, the Digitized Sky Survey, Pan-STARRS, the DESI Legacy Surveys, WISE, GALEX, 2MASS, SIMBAD, CDS, drand, Open-Meteo, iTelescope.net and others) to credit their data or describe examples. None of them is affiliated with KEYHOLE or endorses it.

Wallets

Signing in means signing a plain text message. KEYHOLE never asks you to sign a transaction and never touches your funds. If a page claiming to be KEYHOLE asks for a transaction, it isn't us.

Your text

You're responsible for the titles you give your plates. Don't post anything unlawful or anyone else's private information. We may remove titles that break these terms.

As is

The site is provided as is, without warranty. We may change or stop it. We're not liable for losses from using it.
